Welcome and Introduction
Firstly, a very warm welcome to you in the lead up to the Artificial Intelligence & Data Science in Trading conference taking place at the Metropolitan Pavilion in the heart of the New York City on March 19 & 20 2019.  This document provides key information for delegates attending the event.  We hope that the information provided in this document will help you get the most from your event.

Metropolitan Pavilion is in a prime location in Manhattan’s desirable Chelsea neighborhood. A dedicated and special event venue for 20 years, Metropolitan Pavilion is a uniquely versatile New York City destination and the perfect location to showcase your brand.

During the event guests will have use of the excellent facilities including a coat check and WiFi throughout as well as time to enjoy a luxury buffet lunch and refreshments available all day.

The venue is easily accessible from a number of Subway stations and there are both boutique and major hotel chains located nearby.


Location of the Session
The conference is taking place in the main street level hall, plus the 2nd floor. Delegates should use the main entrance on 18th Street.  

The morning plenary sessions are held in the main theatre on the 1st floor.  In the afternoons, Stream A will be in this main theatre, with Streams B & C being held upstairs on the 2nd floor.  This floor can be accessed by both lift and stairs.

Registration
Registration will take place on the 1st floor of the venue. Registration will be open from 08.00 with coffee, tea and a light breakfast available. For security reasons, delegates are requested to wear their name badges at all times.

On arrival, please collect your badge from the “Registration” desk immediately after the entrance.

Cloak Room 
There is a free cloakroom available for delegates during the conference. Upon your arrival the cloakroom is directly after registration on the 1st floor and will accept coats and suitcases. 

Agenda
The most up to date version of the agenda is available to view on the website (https://www.aidatatrading.com/agenda-mc) and copies will be available on the day.  

Internet Access
The venue has complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout. 

Refreshments
There will be refreshments and food available during the event for delegates. Refreshments and food will be served in the exhibition area.

Delegates who have special dietary requirements must inform Ellie Williams (contact details below) before the event or inform the catering staff at the food stations, who will able to recommend which food items are suitable to consume. There will be vegetarian food options available. 

Evening Networking Reception – Tuesday March 19
All delegates, speakers and Advisory Board members are invited to the free evening networking reception on Tuesday March 19 between 5.30pm – 7pm within the exhibition area of the conference.  Our thanks to RavenPack for sponsoring this event.

The following subway lines have stops near to Metropolitan Pavilion. Visit New York City Transit / MTA for service status, transport-related apps, and more, as well as standard subway and bus route maps.

The No. 1 train; from the 18th St. stop, walk east to 125 W. 18th St.

The No. 2 or 3 train; from the 14th St. stop, walk uptown (north) to 18th St. and 7th Avenue; turn right onto 18th St., and proceed east to 125 W. 18th St.

The A, C, or E train; from the 14th St. stop, walk uptown (north) on 8th Avenue to 18th St.; turn right onto 18th St., then, crossing over 7th Avenue, proceed to 125 W. 18th St.

The M, F or L train; from the 14th St. stop, walk uptown (north) on 6th Avenue to 18th St., then turn left onto 18th St. and proceed to 125 W. 18th St.

The No. 4, 5, 6, Q, R, N, or W train; from the 14th St. stop at Union Square, walk uptown to 18th St. and then proceed west to 125 W. 18th St.

By Car
From Long Island or Brooklyn
Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE; Route 495) to the Queens Midtown Tunnel. Go straight across 37th Street to 7th Avenue; turn left onto 7th Avenue. Proceed downtown on 7th Avenue to 18th Street; turn left onto 18th Street. Proceed to 125 West 18th Street.

From New Jersey
Take the George Washington Bridge to the Henry Hudson Parkway South (Downtown-bound). Turn left onto 26th Street. Proceed on 26th Street to 7th Avenue; turn right onto 7th Avenue. Go to 18th Street and turn left. Proceed to 125 West 18th Street.

From the Lincoln Tunnel
Proceed to 34th Street. On 34th Street, turn right upon 7th Avenue, and continue downtown (south) on 7th Avenue to 18th Street; turn left off 7th Avenue onto 18th Street. Proceed to 125 West 18th Street.

From North of New York City
Take the West Side Highway/Henry Hudson Parkway South to 26th Street; turn left onto 26th Street. Proceed to 7th Avenue; turn right onto 7th Avenue. Proceed downtown on 7th Avenue to 18th Street; turn left onto 18th Street. Proceed to 125 West 18th Street
